Spring is just around the corner.  As the temperature warms up, there may be some yard clean-up that did not get done in the Fall that needs to be done this Spring.  Any leaves still left over from Fall or that have blown into your yard need to be cleaned up as soon as possible.  This will help as the grass begins to grow and recovers from the dry weather we had last year.  With the ice, sleet, snow, and wind, comes lots of small branches and twigs that need to be cleaned before mowing starts.  This is also a good time to have your mower blades sharpened, before the Springtime rush.

Because of the dry summer last year, many yards will possibly be suffering from stress.  If you were able have the winter fertilization done, this will help.  But it will also be important to have the early Spring fertilizer application done and possibly pre-emergent crabgrass herbicide applied.   If you have not already arranged for your lawn treatments for 2012, our company is licensed and certified to do that.  Just give us a call or contact us through this website.
